Dreamfield Manor Farm is home to several Dreamfield Haflingers. These modern, refined Haflingers are a small breed of horse, between 13.2h and 15.1h that originated in the TyroleanMountains of Austria. Their calm, gentle temperament, beautiful coloring, athleticism, and "easy-keeper" quality make them a great horse for people of all ages and disciplines. Haflinger Horses excel under saddle in dressage, jumping, the hunter ring, eventing and other disciplines, as well as in combined driving and pleasure driving venues.
The Dreamfield Manor Farm vision is to produce and train the modern, athletic sport horse Haflinger for both performance and pleasure! Our young horses, whether foaled here at our farm or purchased at an early age, are handled daily, shown extensively, and receive age-appropriate training. This includes some round pen work, as well as ground driving and long-lining, before they begin their under saddle work at age three. As a result, our Haflingers are well-mannered, well-trained and extremely sociable, both with humans and horses.

We strive to look for and work with horses that are of correct conformation, excellent movement and athleticism, refinement with clean bones, yet enough substance and bone to ride, drive or compete in any arena. With our focus on quality verses quantity, we ensure that horses are handled daily and get excellent care. Our goals include having our young horses classified for better clarification of attributes. We also offer outside boarding, show prepping, and prepping for inspection & classification at our facility. We live on premise and operate the farm, so you rest assured that outside horses receive the same care as our own.
At Dreamfield Manor Farm, our primary goal is to raise well-trained, versatile horses that are respectful, trusting and easy to handle, and to place them in permanent homes. It is important to us to match the right horse to the right person. If we don't have what you are looking for, we can work with you in finding your perfect mount. We will also serve as a resource to assist you in planning for future shows and events or show the horse, that you purchase from us, at these events for you.
Dreamfield’s farm trainer, Jennie Deephouse, has a special talent for working, with both horse and rider, to develop a winning partnership both in and out of the ring.
